Aaron Rhodes is a co-founder and principal investigator of the Freedom Rights Project and president of the Forum for Religious Freedom-Europe, and contributes to the work of several other human rights organizations. He was Executive Director of the International Helsinki Federation for Human Rights between 1993-2007, working inter alia on issues in the Balkans, Chechnya and Central Asia. Along with colleagues, he founded the International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran in 2008. He was also coordinator of the Institute for Human Sciences’ project on reforming universities and research institutes in post-communist countries, and worked as Assistant to the President of Boston University. He has taught and lectured at a number of universities in the United States and Europe.
