Alexandro Cea is the founder and currently the executive director for the Centro de Estudios Equidad in Chile. He is a law school graduate from the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso and he has years of experience leading foundations and nonprofit organizations. He was part of the first generation of local coordinators of Students for Liberty in Latin America.

From Centro de Estudios Equidad, he is developing a new trend within liberalism with emphasis on solidarity, cooperation, partnership, and social decentralization of the state as the mechanisms to empower the organizations of society in the task of relieving the state in all functions that are far from its essential function of safeguarding public order. This trend has received the name of "liberal societarism."
