Alfredo is public policy analyst with expertise in drug policy. He's originally from Uruguay, where he obtained a Bachelor's of Business Administration and worked first for the private and then for the public sector. Then he moved to Germany and studied a Master of Public Policy, writing his master’s thesis about the role of political culture in cannabis legalization in Uruguay. He worked as a Research Assistant for the Austrian Economics Center​ in Vienna and has been involved in Students For Liberty for several years, giving lectures and organizing workshops about drug policy all around Europe and online. Since 2016 and until Sep-2017, he worked for International Cannabis Corporation, a licensed integrated cannabis company that produces in Uruguay, with the primary focus on developing expansion opportunities internationally.
