Pascual is originally from Uruguay and worked first for the private sector and then for the public sector. Then he decided to pursue a career in policy institutes and moved to Germany to study in public policy. He works as a research assistant for the Austrian Economics Center​ in Vienna and he’s also a senior local coordinator for Students For Liberty. Within the liberty movement, his primary interest is drug policy, and he’s writing his master’s thesis about the legalization of cannabis in Uruguay and Colorado.
