Arpita Nepal is the co-founder and adviser of research and development at the Samriddhi Foundation. She also oversees curriculum design of the Foundation’s education and training programs, along with strategizing advocacy campaigns. Some of the Foundation’s flagship programs, such as Arthalaya – School of Economics and Entrepreneurship, and Nepal Economic Growth Agenda, were conceived and executed under her leadership. Arpita has remained a part-time faculty member of two colleges in Nepal for more than five years and is involved in activism for democracy. She is trained in strategic planning and has extensive experience in working with parliamentarians, representatives of the private sector, experts and stakeholder groups. She holds a double master’s degree in economics from George Mason University and Tribhuvan University of Nepal.
