Brad DeVos was an electrical designer and engineering project manager before he turned his attention to economics and philanthropy.  Between 2000 and 2007, he was involved in over 250 construction projects.

Brad began working with the Bastiat Society in Charleston, South Carolina as their Managing Director in 2009.  His roles included planning the Society’s monthly educational program as well as the general operations of the organization.

In the spring of 2011, Brad accepted the position of Executive Director at the Bastiat Society.  He is currently overseeing the expansion of the organization by developing additional chapters around the world.  His other roles include coalition building, fundraising, and the general operation of the Society.

Brad has a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in Urban Studies from the College of Charleston and is a member of the Mont Pelerin Society.

He lives in Charleston, South Carolina with his wife, daughter, and their dog.
