Dennis Kwakwa has over 12 years of professional teaching experience in Ghana. Has taught biology at the senior highschool level and risen to become the Head of Biology at Kumasi Girls SHS. He resigned in 2014 to take up full-time management of Youth Conference Ghana, a non-profit he founded and is serving in as President. He has learned many faculties including education, science, technology, basic law, energy, finance, and administration. He holds a BSc. In Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Cape Coast and Teachers’ Certificate “A” from the same university. He hold a certificate in energy finance from the National Banking College and has pursued a M.B.A. in finance at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He has attended a number of youth leadership seminars, including one from the International Academy for Leadership in Germany with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation in 2012. He has been in the volunteer and NGO service for twenty years now.
Dennis started volunteer organization work in 1999, when he started his post-secondary education at the Mampong Technical College of Education. He has since participated in a number of voluntary camps, a means to serving humanity in all forms of human endeavor. He has facilitated for more than five members of the organization to gain experience from international training conferences and seminars. From a background of capitalist ideology, Dennis advocates for a free-market system under the current political dispensation in Ghana. He is now employed as a district manager of the National Health Insurance Scheme of Ghana.
