Máté Hajba is the director of the Free Market Foundation in Hungary. He is interested in the relationship of the state and the individual on which he promotes a libertarian perspective. He also contributes articles to the international media on the rising problem of intolerance in Hungary as well as on international relations. To spread the concept of individualism, liberty, tolerance, and free markets, he co-founded a youth organization by the name of Eötvös Club, which is the Hungarian chapter of the European Students for Liberty.
