Sara Sihaloho is the General Manager of the Center for Indonesian Policy Studies (CIPS) in Jakarta, Indonesia, where she manages daily operations, finance, and the human resources in the organization. Being strictly non-partisan and not-for-profit, CIPS suggests policies that are based on the belief that only civil, political, and economic freedom allows Indonesia to prosper. CIPS policy proposals are being formulated to support current decision making processes in the legislative and executive branches of the Indonesian government.
She began her career supporting training and dialogue programs for public policy decision-makers in Indonesia. She was also involved in promoting international trade during her work as a Trade Officer in a diplomatic mission in Jakarta. Aside from her role in CIPS Indonesia, she is a foreign language enthusiast and is managing her own German language school called Sonne Sprachhaus in the southern part of Jakarta, Indonesia.
