Think Tank Theory & Practice will advance your knowledge and skills in establishing or growing your free-market think tank. Over four weeks we will cover several essential aspects of any successful think tank, and give you the opportunity to work through these important steps with your own organization in mind.
This course is delivered in an instructor-led format online (meaning that the course is facilitated by an Atlas Network Academy team member and you will get feedback on your assignments from that instructor). This course will take place over the course of four weeks, with assignments being graded each Monday. You must pass all assignments in order to complete the course. After you complete this course you will be able to:
- Articulate your organization’s vision and mission (or your future organization’s vision and mission)
- Understand how North Stars apply to think tanks and be able to construct your own North Stars
- Understand the basics of Strategic Planning and how they apply to think tanks
- Conduct a SWOT analysis of your organization
- Identify key projects
