Here’s a little secret: When it comes to impacting policy change or shifting public opinion, you’re more effective and impactful when you don’t go it alone.

One of the greatest assets of an organization is its network. A strong network or coalition of allies can help an organization spread their message, engage new audiences, and achieve lasting policy change. For the past 25 years, Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) has hosted the Wednesday Meeting in Washington, D.C., as a primary tool to build an extremely effective global coalition of center-right oriented groups.

In this upcoming 30-minute webinar, Patrick Gleason, Director of State Affairs at Americans for Tax Reform, will share some insights and best practices that ATR has learned since hosting its first Wednesday Meeting on the importance of cultivating strong coalitions and how your organization can do the same.

About the presenter: Patrick Gleason is the director of state affairs at Americans for Tax Reform, a Washington-based advocacy and policy research organization founded by Grover Norquist in 1985. In his role, Patrick travels around the world helping organizations effectively build coalitions that are having significant impact in their respective regions. He is a regular contributor to Forbes and has been published in The Economist, Reuters, Politico, and the Wall Street Journal.
