ALA students can earn a maximum of five credits through webinars, though students are welcome to view as many as they choose.

This webinar originally aired on June 22nd, 2017

In today’s world, there are a myriad of options for reaching your audience, from the traditional, (radio, newspaper, television), to the innovative (Twitter, Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram). How can a think tank — with policy recommendations, sound evidence, and an interesting message — stand out from the crowd? Jo Jensen, CEO of Causeumentary, is here to tell you how.

In this webinar, Jo, who has run engagement and outreach strategies for award winning films like Poverty, Inc. (Templeton Freedom Award winner), Honor Flight (Guinness World Record Holder), Blood Brother (Sundance Winner), SlingShot (Sundance Selection), I Voted? (Tribeca Selection), Salam Neighbor (AFI Docs Selection), and After Spring (Tribeca Selection), will share her strategies for developing a digital outreach strategy and creating engaging social content. She’ll show you how to not just grow your audience, but to activate it — inspiring people to shout your cause from the proverbial rooftops.

Be sure to join us Thursday, June 22 at 10 a.m. EST to learn how to take your think tank’s message to the masses.
