Named one of 2015’s “Rising PR Stars” while the Associate Vice President of Digital Media at the Washington Public Affairs firm DDC, Jo helped pioneer its digital practice by developing and overseeing several successful public relations campaigns. In the ever-changing digital space, Jo mastered social listening tools and visual storytelling to really make an impact and shape the digital narrative for clients. She is a frequent speaker on brands rocking social media and has hosted digital training sessions at Campaign Tech East, the National Press Club, the Army Navy Club, CPAC, and the State Policy Network.
Before jumping to the PR world, Jo served as Marketing Director at Freethink, where she developed engagement strategies that resulted in breaking the Guinness World Record for the largest film screening in history with a turnout of 28,442 people at the movie premiere of Honor Flight.
