John Risley, OC, Chairman of the Atlantic Institute for Market Studies (AIMS), will speak at a luncheon in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador to business and thought leaders about creating an environment for economic growth.

Risley is a serial entrepreneur who has been involved in various private, public, and non-profit sector organizations. He will speak to the ways in which Canadians can build a positive environment for startups and new business creation.

He is the Chairman of the Board of Futurpreneur Canada, a non-profit dedicated to building the economy through the promotion of entrepreneurship. Risley is the President of Clearwater Fine Foods Incorporated, a diversified holding company with international operations in fisheries, telecommunications, and other industries.
