Pietro Ichino is an Italian lawyer, journalist and politician. He is Professor of labor law at the University of Milan and senator for the Democratic Party. He is currently Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins SAIS in Europe in Bologna, Fellow of the Carlo Alberto Institute and Chief Economist of the Democratic Party.
Fabio Scacciavillani graduated in Economics at the Luiss University of Rome, then He hold a Ph.D at the University of Chicago. He worked for the International Monetary Fund, the European Central Bank and Goldman Sachs. Later he arrived in Qatar to the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting, an international organization of the Gulf countries, and then in the United Arab Emirates as a director of macroeconomic and statistic research at the Dubai International Financial Centre. Currently He works in Muscat as Chief Economist of the Investment Fund of Oman.
Riccardo Puglisi was born in Mantua, July 24th, 1974. An Alumnus of Collegio Ghislieri, he graduated in economics at the University of Pavia in 1998. He holds a Doctorate in Public finance (University of Pavia, 2002) and a PhD in Economics (LSE, 2008). Assistant professor in Economics at the Department of Political and Social Sciences. He is a member of the editorial board of lavoce.info and an editorialist for Corriere della Sera and Linkiesta. Previously he was a visiting lecturer in quantitative methods at the MIT political science department (2005-2007) and a Marie Curie fellow at ECARES, Université Libre de Bruxelles (2007-2009).
