Join the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Economic Freedom (NALCEF) for its second annual Friedman Forum.
Friedman Forum is a student conference celebrating the ideas of Milton Friedman.
This day-long seminar will give students the opportunity to learn about Friedman's contribution to economics, and discuss how market-driven reforms can solve policy issues facing Newfoundland and Labrador. This year, NALCEF will be focusing on Friedman's Free to Choose book and miniseries.
Applications are open to:
- Students who are currently completing their studies at a post-secondary institution in Newfoundland and Labrador; or,
- Permanent residents of Newfoundland and Labrador who are currently studying at another post-secondary institution outside of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Successful applicants will be provided with a free, print copy of the book in advance of the conference. In addition, attendees will receive a complimentary breakfast and lunch.
