The State Policy Network (SPN) Annual Meeting started in 1993 in Traverse City, Michigan. A dozen people met in a room with the hope of building a robust network of state think tanks throughout the country. Today, the SPN Annual Meeting brings together over 900 people from around the country, including state and national leaders, influencers, and professionals. This year, the Annual Meeting is returning to the state where it all started. Freedom fighters will gather in Grand Rapids, MI, with an intentional focus on developing the solutions and skills to advance freedom at both the state and national level. The 2015 theme is Experience Freedom.

At Speed Networking on Tuesday night, sponsored by Atlas Network, come network with and learn about your fellow champions in the liberty movement. Speed Networking will consist of many fast-paced rounds featuring fun/social-style questions and professional/career-style questions from some of our movement’s leaders like John Tillman, Michael Carnuccio, Claire Kittle Dixon, and Tarren Bragdon. When you attend Speed Networking, you will be entered into a drawing to win one of two paid trips (including airfare, hotel, and conference registration) to attend Atlas Network’s annual Liberty Forum & Freedom Dinner on Nov. 11-12, 2015, in NYC.

After Speed Networking, don't miss the Acton Institute + Atlas Network sponsored Michigan Craft Beer Garden from 7:30 – 10 p.m. at the Acton Institute offices (a short 6-minute walk from the conference site). Thrillist.com recently wrote, “Michigan has one of the most vibrant, innovative, and locally loyal brewing cultures of any state in the union, and Grand Rapids anchors the state’s most prolific brewing region.” That is why it named Grand Rapids one of the top 10 beer cities in America.

If the craft beers don’t convince you to come, at least attend for the chance to dunk some of our movement’s leaders like John Tillman, Michael Carnuccio, Claire Kittle Dixon, and Tarren Bragdon in The Think Tank Dunk Tank. The two winners of the drawing will be announced at the Beer Garden.
