French voters will go to the polls in late April and early May to elect a new president. The outcome in France, the second largest country in the European Union, will have ripple effects across Europe and the world. Center-right candidate Francois Fillon has enjoyed leads in most polls, but right-wing populist Marine Le Pen predicts a Trump-style surprise, and the impact of socialist and independent candidates cloud the picture considerably.
Join Atlas Network on Thursday, April 6 in Naples, Fla. for a reception and French wine tasting featuring Alexandre Pesey, founder of the Institut de Formation Politique (IFP) who will discuss the upcoming election, and the opportunities that exist for free-market reforms along the lines championed by his organization.
