Timothy Andrews is the executive director of the Australian Taxpayers' Alliance. He is also a graduate of the University of Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Economics (Social Sciences), a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Masters of Public Policy. While studying, he served two terms as Federal President of the Australian Liberal Students’ Federation and was elected to the Board of Management of the HR Nicholls Society, a position he continues to hold today, nine years later. He is a 2015 graduate of Atlas Leadership Academy's Think Tank MBA program.
Andrews organizes the largest free-market conference in the Asia-Pacific region, the Australian Libertarian Society’s Annual Friedman Conference in Sydney. He is also the creator and managing editor of www.menzieshouse.com.au and www.stopgillardscarbontax.com. He has considerable experience in grassroots and taxpayer advocacy, both in Australia and internationally, including employment at the Washington D.C.-based Americans for Tax Reform and an internship at the Cato Institute. He is not a member of any political party. He and his wife Helen live in Sydney.
