Atlas Network connects and strengthens a worldwide network of partners that share a vision of a free, prosperous, and peaceful world where the rule of law, private property and free markets are defended by governments whose powers are limited. One of the most effective ways to strengthen this network is to connect our allies around common interests, drawing on the resources of our partners to understand and explore the challenges of advancing liberty around the world. Atlas Network’s special travel experiences complement our Regional Liberty Forums on five continents, sharing new perspectives on the beauty and wonder of the world. We hope you’ll take the opportunity to spend time with our partners, who are creating the conditions for liberty to flourish, to learn about and experience the magnificence of their home countries.

Tour Schedule

Day 1: August 23

Africa Liberty Forum 2019 will conclude at 15:00 in Nairobi, Kenya. That afternoon and evening, we will have an outing and dinner as a group.

Day 2: August 24

Our Kenyan Safari starts with a morning pick-up from Crowne Plaza Nairobi for the trip to Lake Naivasha. We'll drive to the Lake Naivasha with stops to marvel at the scenic Great Rift Valley Escarpment. You will also visit the Hell's Gate National Park which has spectacular scenery including including the towering cliffs, water gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrubclad volcanoes and belching plumes of a natural geothermal steam. You will then proceed to your Naivasha accommodation to arrive in time for lunch.

After lunch we take a boat ride to Crescent Island. You will see many types of animals, such as  giraffes, waterbucks, wildebeest, gazelles, impala, and dik diks on the island during a walk with an expert resident naturalist. We retire back at our cozy accommodations at the Naivasha Simba Lodge.

Day 3: August 25

In the morning we drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home to the big five: lions, elephants, leopards, buffalos and rhinos.

We will enjoy lunch at our hotel, the Mara Simba Lodge, and relax before departing on the afternoon game run. The Mara Game Reserve is one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied and easy to see.

Day 4: August 26

The search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues today during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals, plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs.

During our stay we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Maasai people (at an extra cost) to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a memorable experience.

Day 4: August 27

We'll have an early morning tea/coffee or hot chocolate before we depart for the African Spice Safari game drive. Breakfast will be served at the camp and you will bid farewell to our safari adventure with a drive to the Mara Serena Airport, where your flight to Nairobi awaits.
