Advocating liberty and free markets can yield benefits in countless ways, many of them unplanned and unforeseen, but one of the best strategies to be sure your advocacy has a tangible and measurable impact is to tie it to a select, reputable international ranking or index and then objectively assess the results. That’s why Atlas Network is excited to announce the launch of the Leveraging Indices for Free Enterprise Policy Reform grant opportunity.
Generously supported by the John Templeton Foundation, this project will provide grants to 15 Atlas Network partners to conduct research, advocacy campaigns, and media campaigns to promote policy reforms that measurably move the needle in a specific prominent ranking or index, including the Ease of Doing Business Ranking by the World Bank Group, the Economic Freedom Index by the Heritage Foundation in partnership with Wall Street Journal, and the Economic Freedom of the World Report by the Fraser Institute.
The grant will award $100,000 divided over the course of three years, if a qualified applicant is chosen. The application period closes on Feb. 16, and partners selected for this project will be notified by March 22. To find out more, including what to include in your application materials, additional project stipulations, and the potential for extra bonus grants and prizes, visit Atlas Network’s Leveraging Indices for Free Enterprise Policy Reform application page.
