“Dominating the New Media” is a new Spanish-language media training program sponsored by Fundación Internacional Bases, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, and Spanish Libertarian. The online program seeks to equip Spanish-speaking libertarians with new media skills, such as creating an effective Twitter account and building a YouTube channel that has the potential to introduce millions of viewers to the ideas of freedom. Participants will also receive coaching on how to speak in public, how to structure and convey an argument, and how to debate their ideas in a hostile setting.

The program brings together Latin American and Spanish classical liberal heroes and experts in the field including Gloria Álvarez, Tipito Enojado, Vanessa Vallejo, Iván Carrino, and Federico N. Fernández

Organizers believe this new online training course will fill a practical void. “There is a huge offer of more theoretical material already available,” the press release states. “The point now, however, is how to communicate it.”
