Last month, the Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF) coordinated a national Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C. on “Right On Crime,” its criminal justice reform project that earned TPPF recognition as a 2013 Templeton Freedom Award finalist. Idaho, Kentucky and Mississippi are the most recent states to see reform initiatives based on Right On Crime principles. The conference in D.C. earned media coverage in Time, CNN, and beyond.
