Magno Karl is the policy director of Livres, a Brazilian classical liberal organization. Karl holds a BA in Social Sciences, an MA in Public Policy and is currently a doctoral candidate at the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy. His research interests are institutional development, parastate governance, and the interface between public safety policies, low-income entrepreneurship, and politics. His writings have appeared in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The Daily Telegraph, Forbes, Newsweek, and many others. He is currently based in São Paulo, Brazil.
