Today, Atlas Network announced that Laura Ann Spencer has officially joined the organization’s prestigious Board of Directors. Spencer, who currently serves as Executive Vice President and owner of the waterproofing company Perma-Seal Basement Systems, will bring a plethora of business experience to the board, in addition to a longstanding commitment to economic freedom.

“We are very excited to have Laura Ann join Atlas Network’s Board of Directors,” said Brad Lips, CEO of Atlas Network. “Based on decades of business experience and an unparalleled passion for helping others, she will be integral to our efforts to strengthen the worldwide freedom movement. We look forward to building on the successful collaborations of our various board members, who ensure that Atlas Network stays true to its mission and improves the lives of countless people around the world.”

"For several years now, I have been inspired by the Atlas Network's mission to improve the lives of people around the world by providing the necessary resources, education, and strategy to make meaningful change," said Laura Ann Spencer, Executive Vice President, Perma-Seal. "Their commitment and passion for fostering individual liberty and free enterprise is perfectly aligned with my beliefs. I am honored to elevate my involvement with this organization and be a part of the substantial work Atlas Network is leading around the world."

Spencer began her tenure with Perma-Seal in 2004, starting at the very base of the operations. Since her humble beginnings 19 years ago, she has worn many hats at the company, including creating and leading the marketing department along with designing and developing the organizational structure that is in place today. In her most recent role as Executive Vice President and owner, Spencer launched Perma-Seal University, which consists of weekly, monthly, and quarterly leadership programs designed to grow, develop, and inspire current and future leaders within Perma-Seal. Driven by engaging and energizing the “Perma-Seal Tribe,” Spencer believes that the ripple effect of someone who is feeling fulfilled by their work is immeasurable. Spencer possesses an innate entrepreneurial spirit, having launched her first business while still in high school. She quickly expanded her custom cake business to a full-service corporate catering company, It’s Simply Delicious, with both private and corporate clients like Target. While the catering business was a thread throughout her life for over 25 years, Spencer also found time to launch a successful graphic design business, working with clients to craft their brand strategy and bring their visions to life.

Coming from successful backgrounds in the private and philanthropic sectors, Atlas Network’s board oversees the work of the organization and ensures fidelity to its mission. Debbi Gibbs, owner of the music agency Just Managing, currently serves as chair of a board that includes Lawson Bader, Luis Henrique Ball, Scott Barbee, Thomas Beach, Robert Boyd, Montgomery Brown, Linda Edwards, Dan Grossman, Jean-Claude Gruffat, Nikolaos Monoyios, Gerry Ohrstrom, Parth Shah, and Kathryn Washburn.
