Courtney joined Atlas Network after graduating from Brigham Young University in 2022 with a degree in Political Science and Korean Studies. Courtney became interested in politics and Asia after serving a church service mission in South Korea from 2017 - 2019 where she learned to speak Korean and see the world from a new political perspective. She then went on to intern as a research assistant at the Committee for Human Rights in North Korea (HRNK) and volunteer at Liberty in North Korea (LINK) where she pursued one of her passions of helping North Korean refugees. Courtney is a Washington State native and currently lives in Washington DC. In her free time, you can find Courtney listening to political podcasts, reading a book, eating delicious foods or practicing her Korean.
