One of the keys to success in any project is a thorough understanding of the basics. The Foundations track will provide you with knowledge of the key components of any successful think tank, as well as some practical steps from which you can continue to grow as an individual and as a member of your organization. You can earn this certification by completing Think Tank Fundamentals, Think Tank Theory & Practice, and Think Tank 360.
Think Tank Fundamentals
Date: On Demand
Think Tank Fundamentals is a fully-automated, two hour course that covers the principles and concepts that you need to understand before diving into the day-to-day work of a think tank. Each lesson contains readings, videos and a quiz. The course will help you better understand what the role of think tanks is in society, what role your organization can play, and how your organization can best work with Atlas Network.
Think Tank Theory & Practice
Date: On Demand
Think Tank Theory & Practice will advance your knowledge and skills in establishing or growing your free-market think tank. Over four weeks we will cover several essential aspects of any successful think tank, and give you the opportunity to work through these important steps with your own organization in mind. This course is delivered in an “instructor-led, online” format (meaning that the course is facilitated by an Atlas Network Academy team member and you will get feedback on your assignments from that instructor each week).
Think Tank 360
Date: April 18-20, 25-27
Location: Virtual (Zoom)
Think Tank 360 is a new synchronous training program from the Atlas Network Academy that will give you the opportunity to engage with peers in the network to overcome real problems in your organization. In this virtual training, you will engage with your peers to discuss the day-to-day work of running a Think Tank, and how you can better institutionalize your organization to create real change in your community.
