Olha Krasovska joined one of the leading Ukrainian think tanks — the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting (IER) — after 15 years in the R&D sphere.
Until 2013, she worked at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Her main research interests are in the fields of S&T and innovation policy, venture financing, and SMEs. She is the author of over 90 publications dedicated to these issues. She has a Ph.D. in economics (“innovation economics and R&D management”). She received a personal grant from the president of Ukraine to support research of young scientists (2007) and the Ukrainian Federation of Scientists Award for Young Scientists "Intellectual future of Ukraine" (2006).
From January 2013 to February 2015 she worked in the State Fund for Fundamental Research of Ukraine (SFFR) on the positions of Department head and Deputy Director of the SFFR.
Since April 2015, Olha Krasovska is affiliated with the IER, working on the position of leading research fellow/project coordinator. The IER's mission is to provide an alternative position on key problems of social and economic development of Ukraine in the field of macroeconomic policy and stability, international trade, support of SME development based on liberty principles.
