SIR ANTONY FISHER
Atlas Network founder Sir Antony Fisher knew he wanted to change the world for the better, but he wasn’t sure how until Nobel laureate economist Friedrich A. Hayek convinced him to abandon electoral aspirations and instead begin work building institutions that would fight on the front lines in a global battle of ideas.
That battle continues today, with hundreds of Atlas Network partners around the world helping to make their communities and countries more free and prosperous. June 28, 2015, would have been Fisher's 100th birthday, and Atlas Network is commemorating his life and legacy with a collection of essays, videos, and recollections about Fisher's ongoing impact on the world. The essays below, contributed by scholars renowned in their fields, illustrate the diversity of thought to be found in today’s battle of ideas and serve as ammunition for a new generation inspired to fight for freedom.
