Each November in New York City, Atlas Network’s Liberty Forum & Freedom Dinner brings the worldwide freedom movement together for an unforgettable two-day celebration of the best ideas, the boldest reforms, and the most courageous organizations working to expand liberty around the globe.

This year’s Liberty Forum & Freedom Dinner is happening on November 12 & 13 at the Sheraton Times Square and will host freedom advocates from every inhabited continent.

Atlas Network’s flagship event is known by many as the most inspirational gathering for advocates of free enterprise and individual rights, and for good reason.

There are few other conferences in the world where you can not only meet freedom advocates from across the U.S., but people advancing the rights of street entrepreneurs in west Africa, defenders of constitutional rights in Latin America, economic reformers who have brought their countries out of communism in central and eastern Europe, and courageous democracy advocates opposing tyranny in China, all in one room—if not one table over lunch.

Throughout Liberty Forum & Freedom Dinner, you’ll find yourself gaining new perspectives and new friends and heroes as you discover a world of people who share your values and are taking on real challenges to win crucial victories for personal liberty, free markets, limited government, and the rule of law.

Inside Liberty Forum

Because Atlas Network is the hub for more than 500 independent and impactful pro-freedom organizations in more than 100 countries, we know our guests are not merely an audience of idle spectators. Our Liberty Forum agenda caters to participants who want to engage in the discussions and collaborations that can strengthen the worldwide freedom movement, and the schedule is packed with a variety of interactive programs, networking opportunities, and thought-provoking breakout sessions.

Cornerstone Talks lead off the main stage agenda at every Liberty Forum. These are quick, powerful presentations by Atlas Network partners who are reshaping their countries and communities with pro-liberty idea entrepreneurship. Cornerstone Talks spotlight efforts like defeating hyperinflation and ending shortages of food and fuel in Lebanon; combating authoritarian populism in Latin America; and defending free speech in a world where governments in free and unfree countries are competing to clamp down on free expression online.

Workshops are interactive sessions where attendees break into groups to tackle shared challenges. These sessions bring together nonprofit leaders, policy professionals, and philanthropists who are eager to sharpen their approach and share their successes and lessons learned.

Film screenings introduce you to what the fight for freedom is like on the ground in other parts of the world, and to see the personal stories behind the missions of pro-freedom think tanks and civil society organizations. From the latest documentaries from Atlas Network, to new releases from our annual Lights, Camera, Liberty film and video grant program, we spotlight freedom-focused content from every region on Earth.

Atlas Network's Smart Bets Pitch Competition introduces you to organizations partnering with Atlas Network that have proven themselves as rising stars. These promising think tank and civil society entrepreneurs make their case to an expert panel of judges and philanthropists to compete for additional funding opportunities, with one of the organizations receiving a $50,000 grant. Past Smart Bets participants have achieved major policy breakthroughs, including Lebanese Institute for Market Studies, Sri Lanka’s Advocata Institute, and the Center for Indonesian Policy Studies.

VIP and Networking Luncheons offer you choices for your Liberty Forum experience. At our exclusive Liberty Lounge, special lunchtime guest speakers offer their insights on major policy battles for freedom around the world, while our freeflowing networking luncheons give you more flexibility to meet and greet as you eat. In the course of an hour, you might be introduced to team members from KEFiM in Greece, which is advancing tax reform to spur the country’s growth, or learn about the work of Centre for Civil Society in India, which led the way in adopting one of the world’s largest school choice programs.
