Courtney Dunn
Associate Director, Meetings & Events
With a career spanning the higher education and nonprofit organizations, Courtney brings more than a decade of experience in event management, academic programming, and travel coordination to the Atlas Network. Originally from Virginia Beach, Courtney has called Northern Virginia home since 2013.
Beginning her career in Alumni Relations, Courtney got her first taste into the Events world through fundraising and affinity driven events. Since then, she has specialized in planning and executing events of varying size and complexity, including academic events ranging from 20 to 500 attendees, to include programs with international components. Her experience includes comprehensive travel management, as well as developing standardized processes, strategic planning, improving operational efficiencies, and contingency planning, to ensure successful event execution.
Courtney holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from East Carolina University and a Master’s of Education from George Mason University.
